Due to the excellent geographical position of Meilin Yicun and high-level cultivation of community residents, since 1998 when the community was founded, the government has been paying great attentions to the community and has given great help to the improvement of residential environment and building of hardware facilities. This has caused dramatic changes and improvements of the residential living environment. At present, Tang Lang Mountain, to the back of Meilin Yicun, will be included as one of the Shenzhen Suburban Park Planning Construction Programs. The program will have the areas where has less sights, high grade, low vegetation coverage and/or is very difficult to develop transferred into forest ecosystem recovering zoon, it will set up 4 large scenic areas 32 sight spots, cut out 2 climbing paths leading to the peak of Tang Lang Mountain. When visitors reach the peak, they will be able to overlook Wu Tong Mountain, Yang Tai Mountain, Large and Small South Mountain and the city overview. The park will also provide different kinds of special paths such as Hiking path, Scientific Education path, Plant Study path etc. With these special paths, not only the residents can play, work out or rest and recreate at leisure, they can also simultaneously learn from the park more knowledge about biology, geology, hydrology etc. Meilin Yicun community has always been paying attention to recycling used batteries and used water: residents can voluntarily put used batteries into the special recycling garbage bins. At the same time, the community is promoting the use of solar energy, thus more and more residents are taking substituting this new clean energy to normal energy usage. |
