The awareness of environmental protection is an important indication to measure the progress and the civilization level of a society, whereas the environmental cultivation is the detailed manifestation of a person¡¯s morality. Since 1998 Shenzhen Wonder Shine Real Estate Company Limited Meilin Yicun management department took over the community residence, they made great effort to propose a managerial concept of ¡°high quality service, prioritize environmental protection¡±. They also include environmental protection into the community management working routine, actively propagandizing environmental protection knowledge, help the residents understand it. Nowadays not only Meilin Yicun possesses elegant natural landscapes but also anthropological landscapes, thus, Meylin Yicun has become ¡°Shenzhen No.1 Environmental Protection Village¡± and attracted lots of attentions and recognitions from society.
The residents of community have organized and joined many times the activities that promoted environmental protection. In 2000, 500 residents voluntarily organized to plant 2000 trees (of over 100 kinds) in front their homes or in parterres. The action was named ¡°tree adoption¡±, and until now these adopters still keep weeding, fertilizing and taking care of these plants. Another action was named ¡°Top 10 green balconies¡± election, which was promoting to put more green plants on the balconies, and helped glorifying the residential environment. Simultaneously, the residents founded a so called ¡°green environmental protection union¡±, periodically promotes environmental knowledge, and monitors the environment construction and development¡similar activities have given rise to passions of residents devoting themselves into protection of environment and building an environmental friendly home. |
